CIMC Valiant Leader

- The CIMC VALIANT LEADER is a new build of the H1293 Freide and Goldman Super M2 Design 300ft Self-Elevating Drilling Unit currently located in Yantai, CHINA
- In August 2019 Factorig was employed by SHE-VAL to deploy a rig intake process on the Valiant Leader in Yantai, China – according to Total standards. Rig was scheduled for Endurance/ Acceptance Testing before the COVID-19 Pandemic.
- FACTORIG assures that the rig will be without deficiencies, fully inspected, complete with endurance test and ready to drill within 2 months.
- The Valiant Leader JU Rig is a 100% Valiant controlled drilling asset ensuring Nigerian Content Compliance, de- risked operations and service capability.
- The rig can be made available in country in Q1 2021 and will be managed and operated by Dolfines (formerly Dietswell S.A.) on behalf of SHE-VAL under an exclusive Technical Partnership.
- Dolfines (ex Dietswell) Contracting provides drilling project management services worldwide that help optimize overall drilling performance and reduce time to target depth.
- Dolfines (ex Dietswell) has managed land rigs, jack ups and offshore assets with excellent HSE records.
Valiant Leader - Spec Sheet
The Valiant Leader is a Super M2 class Self-Elevating Drilling Unit designed for year-round operations in benign conditions in accordance with ABS assessments. Featuring an enhanced leg design and wraparound quarters for 110 personnel, she is capable of operating in water depths to 91.4m and drilling to a depth of 9144m.
